Grizzly bear cub with her fish. She had 2 brothers who were also fishing for salmon. She was the smallest of the three. They had recently been expelled by the mom. Our guides said the cubs stay together thru the first winter and den together. They help each other out with finding food. Male adult grizzlies are a constant threat so staying together the first year increases their survival chances. This photo appears in an online magazine, "Explore Campbell River."
